Cucumber season 2020
The cucumber season – a phrase formally qualified as a linguistic man. It was forged as a causal link between the drought in the cultural life of cities caused by artists’ summer trips to the waters, precisely at the time of picking cucumbers, and the lack of news suitable for publication in newspapers. Epidemiological downtime mixed with the August slowness – there is no better opportunity to pay attention to … cucumbers, which are bearing fruit with great vitality right now. Paradoxically, the stoppage becomes a space for abundant fruiting, where the plastic inner world slides over the fertile soil of self-reflection and climbs the poles of the imagination just like strong shoots of homely green cucumbers.
