Ola Fronc – born On April 10, 1990 in Pabianice. In 2014 she graduated from the faculty of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk under the prof. Jerzy Ostrogórski guidance. She lives and works in Gdańsk, she is involved in painting and tattooing.

 

Artist statement

 

For me, painting is a record of the process of entering into deep contact with my intuition. On canvases, I present RELATIONS AND FEELINGS by contrasting clean colors with dirty, swirling swipe with a knife with a subtle studied detail. Once is dense and stuffy and once transparently and lightly. I treat painting as a relationship by asking myself what I want from a picture and even what the image needs from me. In silence comes dialogue with appearing characters, which sometimes I transfer to paper and sometimes not.
